With the Australian summer nearly at its end for another year, we are setting our sights overseas, dreaming of beachside escapes and sunset drinks. Thanks to Sunday Somewhere‘s latest campaign, ‘Daydream Believers’ it’s never been easier to imagine ourselves perched by the water with drink in hand, even as autumn slowly approaches us here down under.
The Australian eyewear label takes us to Sicily with their new collection which re-introduces some of their classic and best selling designs in new season colours. Two of the brand’s most popular styles, CSA and Little God return with new matte black frames and rose gold lenses. Matahari is also back this season with some fresh mirrored lenses and a copper frame.
Two new unisex styles are introduced in the collection, Parker and Vito, which comprise part of the Made in Japan selection. They’re made to the highest specification with particular attention to detail with materials sourced straight from Italy and including the highest quality Italian acetate as well as scratch resistant Italian CR39 lenses.
Nobody does wanderlust daydreams better than Sunday Somewhere and we’re more than happy to go along with their journey. They’ve taken inspiration from and shot the campaign amongst the natural wonders of Sicily’s most popular summer location, Taormina, and some of its historical sights like the medieval churches and the ancient Greek theatre. They also visited the incredibly picturesque Scala dei Turchi which was the perfect backdrop for the new designs.
Check out some of the collection below and try not to become inspired by these shots of the Sicilian summer with idyllic sunsets.
